Survival Fund

This is the last thing I ever thought I would have to do in my life. But here I am. We learned in March my mom had cancer. I can't tell you the devastation hearing those words, and even worse that is spread . As soon as we found out things started so fast , tests, scans, procedures and chemo. I tried to work while this was going on in the beginning, but that just didn't workout. Since the first chemo my mom has had severe side effects, and has ended up in the hospital not once, but 4 times since this all began. On top of the chemo she ended up with blood clots in her lungs. I could go on and on. Needless to say is that I was out on fmla from my job , and that ended 2 weeks ago and I was terminated. I have not had any income whatsoever for the past 3 months. I applied for unemployment, but again am met with problems because if you can't work you don't qualify. What is someone suppose to do? How are you suppose to care for your family, and survive?? I just don't understand it. Needless to say I need some help right now will bills and trying to survive . My parents are trying to help, but they have enough on their plate with medical bills and bills of their own. It's taking everything from me not to cry writing this with embarrassment, but I really don't know what else to do. I just need this help until my mom can get back on her feet, and I can start to work again. Thank you and I appreciate any help you can give!!!!
