Yesterday we had a pittbull with an apparent small caliber gunshot wound wander into our fire station. She was sweet and well tempered but in a lot of pain. Her wound was several days old and obviously infected. We weren't allowed to keep her at the firehouse so we had to surrender her to animal control. Myself and another fireman are going to pick her up tomorrow before she is put down and bring her to a vet for treatment so we can get her adopted and find this sweet girl a forever home.
