Assistance for retiree in Senegal

My name is Kristina, and I volunteer as a teacher in Senegal. Through this work, I've met Diedhiou. He is 70 years old and works as a caretaker at my school. Out of respect for his privacy, I haven't included a picture of him but of his accomodation. Diedhiou earns the equivalent of 150 euros per month. Despite his old age, he wont even receive a monthly pension, which is why he continues to work! He is also building a house for his family (he is a father of five), but under these circumstances, it will never be finished! I want to support him in his construction project and finally give him the rest he deserves. He would never ask for help himself and knows nothing about this initiative! Diedhiou always puts himself last. He stays at work every weekend and only has one day off. Despite wishing to spend weekends with his family, he dutifully stays here every weekend and only leaves on Sunday evenings.
