My AYC Trip to Haiti

At family camp in 2016, God called me to go on an AYC trip. It was during a day session and the minister was talking about reaching our lost world. I had always thought an AYC trip looked like fun and a good opportunity to travel and, while I'm at it, help some people come to know Christ. But it was during that altar call, when I was pouring my heart out to God and asking Him to lead me, I felt very clearly that I needed to go on an AYC trip. When I got home, I talked it over with my mom. We decided that it would be best we wait at least another year.

It's now a year later, I'm 16, and we've decided I'm ready to go. But then the next question arises--where do I go? There were so many amazing options this year for global missions. Austria, Australia, and Scotland immediately caught my eye--they're beautiful countries and I've always wanted to go. But I wanted to seek God's direction in this and so I asked Him to tell me where He wanted me to go. During prayer one day, I felt God pricking at my heart to go to Haiti. At first, I wasn't too sure--I mean, I didn't even know how to pronounce it properly until I said it in youth class one day (apparently "high-tea" is not correct). Alas, I continued to pray some more, and it became pretty clear to me that that was where God wanted me to go.  

It would mean so much to me if you would help me raise the funds needed to go on this missions trip. Every dollar counts--if ten people give $10, that's $100. It adds up quick!
