As most of you know, Ray Parton died June 27, 2014. His passing was unexpected and came way too soon, unbelievable to all. He touched thousands with his daily banter and inspirational messages on Facebook.
Ray is in the arms of our Lord. We are assured of his heavenly home based on Ray's belief in Jesus Christ as his savior. We encourage each of you to seek a personal relationship with Jesus. We could not go through this time without His comfort and guidance.
The task remaining is Ray's earthly good bye. We are facing expenses at every turn. While the typical funeral is expensive, we are facing additional costs to transport Ray home to Texas. Once we say good bye, Ray's parents will travel to Tennessee to retrieve his truck, equipment and belongings.
Facebook and local friends approached us as to how they can help so we are setting up this site. If everyone gave a few dollars, we can get this done. We are overwhelmed first, by the number of Ray's friends and second, by their devotion. We are taking such comfort from the heartfelt posts on his Facebook. Thank you and God bless each of you.
