School uniform

Hi! My name is Matthew Ash and recently I have discovered that several students in my area are going to school with torn tights, wrong uniform, shoes falling apart exc, including several at the school where one of my daughters attends. Unfortunately, if a family are struggling to cover the costs of the uniform, their needs are not always met. This is now a means tested process through the government.... However we all know that this will not take into consideration things that happen in life, soaring living costs, broken appliances, sickness exc.

The aim of this is to help local (and hopefully eventually nationally) families to afford the uniform.

I have contacted the local mp and have been informed that next year schools will be asked not to brand their school clothes, which is great..... But the problem is now!

This gofundme is for those that want to donate and do not have clothes to donate, as I'll also be transforming my garage into a temporary swap shop.

Parents that need help will contact their child's school, who in turn will get in touch with me. I have several local schools that are interested in getting involved, with one confirming that they are fully behind the idea. All receipts will be kept and everything will be transparent.
