Help Jeff get his license back!

Donation protected
First of all, let me thank you for even taking the time to read about Jeff and our story!  I will keep it short and sweet, but it means a lot to have your consideration.

A few years ago, I met the love of my life!  His name is Jeff, and he is truly the silver lining in my life.  He is the most kind, gentle, loving and compasionate person that I have ever met, and although he doesn't know (yet) that I have even created this page, I know it would mean the world to him, to know that someone out there is willing to help.

Jeff and I moved to the Atlanta area, from Chicago, last year in hopes to settle down closer to my family.  The move and everything since, has been fairly easy, with the exception of one thing.  Jeff doesn't have a license.  In Chicago, it was easy for him to get around using public transportation, but here in the suburbs of Atlanta, he is caught having to wait for me to take him where he needs to go, or wait for me to pick him up.  There is next to zero public transportation and he is slowly starting to feel as though he has no independence.  It's hard to watch a man who would do so much for someone else, have to sit back and watch as others have the freedom that he doesnt have.

Like many, when Jeff was younger he made some bad decisions that cost him a lot.  He has served his time, given up a lot, and now all he has left is to literally pay his dues.  He has $7,000 in fines and fees in the state of Illinois, and until he has paid those fines, he cannot get his license back.  He has a wonderful job, but he has had to start from the bottom again, and at 33, that too takes a toll on a man.  I try my best to help where I can, because we moved here so that I could be close to my family.  He moved for ME.  He sacraficed his freedom and independence so that I could be closer to MY family.

A year has passed, and with the jobs we currently have, we are unable to really save any money to pay off his fines in Illinois.  I'm writing this now because we need help.  If he wants to get his license back, we have to ask for help.  The state of Illinois, DOES accept payments, which is great, so ANY amount you can donate is appreciated more that you know!  I will forever be grateful to those that understand that there ARE people who can change for the better and if they have the means, are willing to help!

Thank you so much for reading our story, and I hope that even if you cannot help now, you would spread the word to your family and friends.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
