As most of you know "Cherish Every Moment" has been my wife Elisha's motto. She has always put others needs ahead of hers. She has raised three wonderful children (Joshua, Alexander, and Ashleigh with all her heart and soul. Life has thrown so many obstacles in front of her and the path has been foggy and unknown.
After moving to North Carolina from California the doctors told us our oldest Jousha had Leukemia. She stood by him day and night while keeping the family together and supported him through remission. Josh is an amazing indivual who is creative, loving and an awesome father and son.
Our middle son was in an accident in 2007 and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Once again even though she was suffering herself from a rare form of Leukemia that involves the mast cells she persevered for her child. Alex is one of many miracles in our life.
Ashleigh has not had a terminal illness or major accident but she too has suffered. In a way that most should not in life. Seeing her brothers and mother suffer is more than anyone should be exposed to. She has a beautiful child Brayden that she is raising with her husband Justin. Brayden is being brought up with some of the same values and attributes instilled in her through Elisha.
We find ourselves in a difficult situation cuurently. The cost of Elisha's care weighs heavily on her heart and shoulders. Please join us in our effort to relieve some of the burden and allow her to continue treatment.
