Aww Shucks Plant-Based Goods Donations

Hi, my name is Avrie Powell, co-owner of Aww Shucks. Our mission is to educate the community about the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle and to provide healthy and affordable foods to food deserts/food insecure areas. Many illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, etc. plague communities and research suggests that a whole foods plant-based lifestyle prevents and reverses many illnesses. I have been plant-based for almost 3 years, and the health benefits have been absolutely amazing! Funds will be used to purchase dry goods and produce, as well as information about a plant-based lifestyle and delicious recipes! Donations will be given to the community of Avondale, through Hayes K-8 School, Dec 15th, during PTO night.
