AWHS FPS Internationals

Donation protected
Welcome to the GoFundMe for Appleton West FPS to attend Internationals this June hosted by Minnesota and Wisconsin in La Crosse! Teams from all over the US and the world (think India, New Zealand, France!) will be coming to WI to compete.

At the Wisconsin State Bowl, we had one team achieve FIRST PLACE in the WI Senior Division. Despite the fact that Internationals is in La Crosse, it is still a very expensive competition to attend. Registration alone is $425 for each attendee!

Because we are such a new club we've exhausted all of our funds this year, and we need your help! Please consider supporting our dream to send our state champion team + two individuals to Internationals! We need to reach our goal by May 13 so we can mail in the registration/room&board/meal fees for the students attending.

About the students:
Theo is a sophomore at Appleton West and the club president. Last year he helped lead the efforts to establish a club at Appleton West and has played a huge role in its success. He has been participating in FPS for 4 years. His dedication and drive has helped AWHS FPS grow into what it is today!

Maddie is a sophomore at Appleton West and the co-leader of the club. She has been doing FPS for 2 years. Her creativity and insight are valuable elements to the team dynamic. Despite being new to the FPS program, she has quickly become an important part of our club!

Manish is a sophomore at Appleton West and has been participating in FPS for 4 years. His innovation helps direct his teammates to new ideas and possibilities. Always ready to bring a smile to the face of our members, Manish’s wonderful personality and perceptive mind help keep the team focused, connected, and dynamic!

Justin is a sophomore at Appleton West and has been participating in FPS for 4 years. Bringing his unique intelligence to the group, Justin is great at looking at problems from all angles. His connections and understanding contribute so much to the teams’ achievements!

A special shout-out to our other members: Lilly, Ben, Lily, and Jack. We hope to bring two of you with us!

About Future Problem Solving:
Future Problem Solving is a dynamic international program involving thousands of students from around the world. It uses a six-step model which teaches critical and creative thinking, problem solving, and decision making. FPS strongly supports the development of 21st Century Skills. It teaches students how to think, not what to think! The diverse components offered by Future Problem Solving address the need for problem solving within the curriculum in order for students to prepare effectively for the future in front of them.

*Any money raised beyond our goal will be used next year to support our team's yearly registration and state competition expenses*
