Where your donation goes:
- 50% will go directly to Crisis Kitchen Bali
- 50% will be split equally amongst the live artists performing at our events

Why the Crisis Kitchen Bali?

Awesome Soundwave stand in solidarity with their artists and, as such, have set up a fundraiser platform whereby 50% goes to the artists performing and 50% goes to the Crisis Kitchen Bali , an organisation set up specifically to feed the local community in Bali who are on the brink of starvation due to the impact of the current crisis on their local economy. Once again, this is a fantastic way to dance away your woes and indulge in the sound of one of the finest electronic labels in the world, all from the safety of your own home.
The reason we have chosen to support Crisis Kitchen Bali is because, quite simply, the local economy in Bali, one that depended heavily on tourism has ground to a halt, and the local people, those lovely, welcoming Balinese people who work hard and live frugally now have no income and are starting to starve. Crisis Kitchen Bali, is a small grassroots direct action organisation who were literally set up just weeks ago to deal with this growing crisis. We know the people and we know the money is going directly to the buying of fresh food and distribution to those in dire and immediate need. It is simple and we chose to help.

Hey you music lovers,
As part of our Awesome Soundwave live series of online events, we are raising money for a wonderful charity called Crisis Kitchen Bali and for our artists, who, due to this current crisis have found themselves with little to no income whatsoever.
So, we propose to split your kind donation in half: 50% will go directly to Crisis Kitchen Bali and the remaining 50% will be split equally amongst the artists performing at our events.
This is something we feel very passionate about and hope you do too.
Right now, our friends at Crisis Kitchen Bali are working round the clock to literally feed the many starving people who have lost all their income due to the fact that there is no work and no support in place for them during this global crisis. There are many in this situation around the world, but we chose to support this initiative because it is grass roots, direct and in need of immediate assistance. And, because they are having a direct and positive impact on the local community right now. No middle man, just straight from us to those that need it! Did you know that just $50 bucks can feed up to 90 people for a day !
As well as this wonderful organisation we at ASW want to support our artists whose livelihoods have also been catastrophically been affected by our current situation! Live artists whose sole income is through their art of performance. All of their shows have disappeared over night and, with no safety net in place or, often, little or no recognition from government that they are eligible for support, we felt it important to try to create a new way forward that still allows us to ply our trade, bring the joy of music to you and to survive..
