Awesome Soundwave in support of Crisis Kitchen Bali
As the Coronavirus crisis has brought a total reset to the music industry and serious challenges around the world in 2020, the team at Awesome Soundwave felt it would be timely to gift an early Christmas present in the form of a musical celebration, celebrating the artists who never give up on their passion regardless of the circumstances, alongside raising money for Crisis Kitchen Bali in their ongoing effort to feed the local Balinese people who have lost everything due to this pandemic. Once again, this is a fantastic way to dance away your woes and indulge in the sound of one of the finest electronic labels in the world, all from the safety of your own home.
The reason we have chosen to support Crisis Kitchen Bali is because, quite simply, the local economy in Bali, one that depended heavily on tourism has ground to a halt in 2020, and the local people, those lovely, welcoming Balinese people who work hard and live frugally now have no income and not enough money for food. Crisis Kitchen Bali, is a small grassroots direct action organisation who were only set up this year to deal with this growing crisis. We know the people behind it, and we know for sure that the money is going directly to the buying of fresh food and distribution to those in dire and immediate need. It is simple and we chose to help.
**We wish to express that 100% of monies raised will go to Crisis Kitchen Bali. Of course, there is no obligation to donate, but we welcome any support in any way to share with the Crisis Kitchen Bali.**

As part of our Awesome Soundwave live series of online events, we are raising money for a wonderful charity called Crisis Kitchen Bali. As some of you may already know, we have started to support this incredible and much needed organization this past April & May, when our first Awesome Soundwave Live Festival kicked off: thanks to you all we were able to give and support Kylie & the CKB team to provide more than 800+ meals! Your support makes this possible.
Our friends at Crisis Kitchen Bali are working round the clock to literally feed the many starving people who have lost all their income in 2020, due to the fact that there is no work and no support in place for them during this global crisis. There are many in this situation around the world, but we chose to support this initiative because it is grass roots, direct and in need of immediate assistance. And, because they are having a direct and positive impact on the local community right now. No middle man, just straight from us to those that need it!
