Last year, Steve was diagnosed with FLUTD, which means that once in awhile, crystals build in his urinary tract. These crystals can block the urethra, which is almost always fatal within a 24-hour period.
Normally, I am prepared to take him to the vet as needed, but after a car crash this month, I just spent all of my savings replacing my vehicle.
Steve is showing many signs of an FLUTD flare-up and NEEDS to go to the emergency vet as soon as possible. He is not passing any urine, and is crying out in pain every time I touch him. Our vet bill last year was the same amount I am fundraising for as I expect it will be just as high.
Steve has had a tough go at life since the beginning, and I really want him to live a long, healthy 9 lives. If you can help in ANY way, I would appreciate it more than you know.
