Mission Trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

August 22nd- September 1st I will be traveling to Rio de Janeiro with Harvest International Ministry! For the past month the Lord has been waking me up in the middle of the night and leading me during worship to intercede for young women and children in Brazil who are being sexually exploited. According to the National Forum for the Prevention of Child Labor in 2012, Brazil had an estimated half a million child sex workers. So when I heard about this opportunity to travel to Brazil with HIM and Hrock church I felt the Holy Spirit leading me to Go!

I believe this trip is going to be powerful and I strongly hope to share the love of Christ with the people of Rio de Janeiro, especially the women and children. I also pray that God would use us to bring the light of His Gospel against any spiritual oppression and sexual exploitation we may encounter.  The team I am going with will specifically be going to enrich, refresh and equip the saints who are currently ministering in Brazil with what the Lord has poured into us. Along with building up the body of Christ, we will be doing outreach and sharing the love of God with the surrounding cities and communities. As a team, we are also expectant that God will encourage and edify us through our brother and sisters in Brazil.
