Avon Pavilion Christmas Toys for Tots

The Avon Pavilion and Father Miguel Virella have made it a mission this Holiday season to bring a little joy, hope and Christmas wishes to the children of Mother of Mercy Church, Asbury Park.

Over 200 K thru 8 CCD children were asked to write down one present they wish to find under their Christmas tree this year. The overwhelming ‘wishes’ were warm hats, gloves, scarves, soft blankets, PJ’s and winter wear. The fun stuff included creativity sets, soccer balls, art supplies, costume jewelry and Legos!

 

If you would like to help us spread the message of Hope to our children who are less fortunate this Christmas, please know that as little as a $20 donation would help cover the cost of a warm hat, cozy scarf and toasty gloves!  Volunteers will shop for, sort and gift wrap each child’s Christmas gift.

 

The Avon Pavilion will  MATCH each and every  donation 100% to assure that every child can share in the ultimate JOY of unwrapping a present under the tree on Christmas morning!
