Back surgery for Rob

I am not a man of few words, but I am overwhelmed and breathtaken by the support I have received by my friends and family. Thank you Nicole for setting this up...a proper venting ground. As of today, I have been declined Workmans Comp for my annular tear and disk rupture at my L5S1. My condition is worsening and surgery is the only viable route. Unfortunately, I have been declined Workmans Comp and Disability, so the costs are not feasible. I received denial letters in the mail today for everything coupled with medical and ambulance bills. My fight is not over for them to man up and pay these, but in the meantime, I will. Considering we have spent so much time improving our credit, buying a house and taking charge of our lives, I will not let this destroy all of that. I will make payment arrangements and keep medical bills from tearing down what my Wife and I have built. THANK YOU to all of you who have supported us through this entire ordeal, I can't thank you enough. I know I have closed up and shut myself away often, and I apologize...I think it's my way of avoiding facing the matter at hand. My tools are put away, my garage is locked...I don't want that reminder of things I cannot do. The strength of the meds they have me on just to keep me moving is staggering and taking their toll on me :.(
