Our friend and community member needs our help! Avi is one of the hardest working humans we know. She's busting her ass every day to try to make a living as a full time artist.

Her typical schedule is:
5:00am wake to do kids performances on Book-it Repratory's Educational tour, which lasts varying lengths of time depending on the day
3:00-6:00pm: teach voice lessons, designer meeting, make props or costumes
7:00-10:00pm: Directing "Queer Mama Cossroads" at Annex Theater
11:00pm Walk downtown to wait and catch bus home
12:30am: Arrive home
1:00am: Fall asleep

... and then do it all over again

Aviona is currently:
Actor in a touring kids show for Book-it
Director for Annex Theatre
Teaching Artist for Mode Music and Performing Arts
Season Prop Master for CenterStage Arts Conservatory
Self made Poet - expanding her Solo Show, next show is April 13, 2019
Emerging Burlesque performer, next show March 31, 2019
Producer, Curator, Event Planner

If that wasn't hard enough in the Seattle economy she is also helping support her mother, Gloria. In 2017, Gloria was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in addition to her type 2 Diabetes. After working in her medical field for another year- she had to quit her job as she battled for her life. In 2 years, her heart functionality has strengthened, but meanwhile she has begun to suffer from other illnesses including diabetes, neuropathy, and losing cartilage in her right knee cap.

Because of her health, Gloria works for many app services when she is physically able to drive such as Uber, Ubed Eats, Lyft, Caviar, and Amazon Prime Delivery on a very good day.  On March 1st- Gloria's car was smashed by a metro bus. She now has no source of income and has no substantial evidence proving her disabled.

Aviona & Gloria also financially support the youngest child of the family who is in his 2nd semester of college at Onondaga Community College, located in upstate NY.  Aviona's younger brother's extra time is taken up by his passion to play lacrosse. Not only does he play for his school's team, but he plays on an indoor league for Team Philippines and just made the international playing team for Mexico.

This family is barely making ends meet. Their bill's are all past due and their electricity is potentially going to be turned off if they can't get funds together in time.

Let's show Avi and the world how much we value people and art by supporting this hard working artist and her family in a time of crisis. Please give today. When considering how much you might like to give here are some of the basic expenses and bills Avi will need help with during this crisis.

Groceries: $100/ week

Electric Bill: averages $70-90/ month
Currently $164.00  passed due

Phone Bill: $150.00/month
Currently $457.43 passed due

Brother's Rent While in School : $300/ month
Brother's Living Expenses While in School: $120/ week

Total All Passed Due Balances: $621.43
Total Monthly Expenses: $1,420

Financial experts suggest families should have three to six months expenses in the bank in case of emergency. Therefore we are planning to raise enough money to get Avi and her family not just out of crisis for today, but to give them enough in savings to help keep them out of crisis in the future.

Our Goal Immediate Goal:
One Month's Expenses $1,420
Past Due Bills $621.43

Total: $2,041.43

Our Stretch Goal:
Three Month's Expenses $4,260
Past Due Bills $621.43

Total: $4,881.43
