Avery's Emergency Fund

Donation protected
On Saturday morning 3/13/2021 Avery, who is 3 years old, sustained severe burns to both of his hands and his arms reaching his elbows. He does have some burns on his legs however the most severe is his little hands and arms. Avery was airlifted to Chapel Hill to be in the Pediatric Burn Unit. So far Avery has had 2 debridement's done to his arms and hands.  Avery and his family await surgery on Tuesday.
The surgery will be for a new type of skin graft for the palm of his hand and a long term dressing until he will have a follow up which would be 10 to 12 days after the surgery. The surgery will also be for a deep debridement and cleansing of the burns.

Avery will need occupational therapy as he will have to have splints on his arms to make sure the skin grows as it should. Both parents are in Chapel Hill and unable to work during this time. There will be many travel expenses as well as loss of income until Avery is able to come home.

They say it takes a village and right now this family needs our village to show our support, whether it be a donation, a share, or prayer. Anything that you can do for them would truly be appreciated.
