Help Joyce Fight Cancer

If you have ever met Joyce (aka ‘Joycey’) you will agree that she is as tenderhearted as she is kind. Never desiring that anyone feel rejected, she has always been a welcoming person to any stranger. She is always acting silly and even willing to be the clown if that is what it takes to cheer up a sad soul. We are raising funds for sweet Joyce, as she has been diagnosed with small cell stage 4 lung cancer. She has a mass in her lung that has grown to be 8 cm, and has metastasized to her brain, creating 3 lesions. These brain tumors create immense inflammation in the brain, literally pressing against each other causing movement in brain fluid. Joyce is terminally ill, the cancer being her demise.

She currently lives in North Carolina as a clerk, bringing smiles to any customer who comes into her store. She is a loving mother, a loyal friend and a caring daughter, sister and auntie. Given a small amount of time to live, doctors strongly exhort her to have radiation and chemo therapy to preserve her. These expenses are at a cruel high, leaving it nearly impossible for a single person to receive such needed treatment.
