Hello everyone. So this is a hard one to start... As if last year was not testing enough, in December, we sadly found out that our mum was diagnosed with lung cancer, which has spread to her liver and bones, making it incurable. This has hit us all like a tonne of bricks. As a family, we have been caring for mum and doing it all ourselves, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! (Now we know why mum had 6 kids!!) The reason for starting this go fund me page, is to help her. Give her some breathing space in what will be her last months, allowing her to plan and do the things she wants. We were trying to come up with ideas how we can help take the stress of money and bills away from mum. Katy came up with the idea of setting this up - but you all getting something in return. Katy will be offering her beautiful bee print specially created and named ‘ The Ava bee’ for a minimum donation of £12. (These prints sell on her page for £28) we didn’t want to ask for more, but your donation of what ever you can give, would be greatly received and appreciated more then ever. You get a stunning piece of art whilst helping mum get some peace of mind, allowing her to live freely for the time she has left with us.
