Our beautiful Ava, who is 2 years old and is loved by so many, was diagnoised with Neuroblastoma on 9/12/17. She is stage 4, the most advanced and aggressive form of this cancer. Her parents, Chuck and April Triana, are overwhelmed with sadness and determined to do everything in their power to make Ava well again.
Neuroblastoma is a very rare type of cancerous tumor that almost always affects children. It develops from nerve cells in the fetus called neuroblasts. Usually, as a fetus matures and after birth, the neuroblasts develop normally. Sometimes they become cancerous, causing neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma accounts for 7 to10 percent of childhood cancers and each year 800 new cases are diagnosed in the United States.
We are asking for help to offset the enormous medical bills that will be incurred. Chuck and April are focusing all their love, attention, strength and efforts on helping Ava get well and this situation has kept Chuck at the hospital and away from work. Anything at all that you can donate will be very appreciated. We are also asking that you please pray for Ava to be cured from this terrible disease. No child or parent should ever have to go through this nightmare.
