Ava's Seizure Dog

Our daughter Ava began having seizures at 11 months old.  She has been diagnosed with epilepsy.  She has what is known as abscence seizures. With these types of seizures she could fall at a moments notice.  Today at almost 5 years old she experiences between 2 to 4 seizures a day. She is currently on 3 medications and we believe a seizure dog could be a huge help in her life. These dogs can either help detect a seizure or they can help protect her from falling as she begins to have a seizure. Thank you for joining us in this effort to help our little girl.
