<div>Excitingly, I have been selected as one of the few students that is approved to write and direct a coveted 581 Thesis film, the highest level of shorts made as part of USC’s graduate program. This is a unique opportunity and one that will bridge the gap between the student and professional world, as many of the films go on to have great festival runs.

<div>My film is a 12 minute short, set in the world of fine art, exploring the tension between the financial side of a creative career and the artistic side. It is a tension that artists of all types are consistently aware of, and one that can even resonate in other career paths. I think it is important to constantly question what people’s metrics of success are within creative spaces, and I hope that this film will help to raise this question in a positive light.
