Jackson Hole WY TEEN Mental Health

Hi everyone! My name is Ava Kelly and 13 years old. I was born and raised in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. In recent weeks, it felt right to start a fundraiser for teenage mental health, especially for those suffering from Covid-19. The effects of the virus have been far-reaching. Just like so many others, this new situation left me in my room alone for several months. Depressing. During this transition, I resolved to work towards becoming a yoga instructor through “My Vinyasa Practice” (https://myvinyasapractice.teachable.com/). I hoped it would help my own mental health needs, had certified yoga instructors help me. By March 27 of 2020, I began the RYT-200 online course. Although the course was not easy, it was certainly a rewarding experience. It took me four (4!) months to complete the course. But my yoga instructors, mentors, and family members were all very supportive. On July 27 of 2020, I was awarded a certificate of completion for RYT-200. In the process of registering with Yoga Alliance, they told me I was the YOUNGEST instructor to successfully complete the course. Huh?! I guess that is cool, right? I am officially registered with Yogs Alliance! 50% of your donations will be put towards "Van Vleck House Youth and Family" in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This is a wonderful resource to help teenagers struggling with mental health issues. They offer a FREE 30-day program.
