Ava's Journey To A New Heart

On July,12th 2017 the beautiful Ava Madrid was born into this world, it was a much antisipated arrival and a wonderful miracle for my sister and brother in law, they could not of been more ready for this precious baby girl. Her delivery was perfect 3 hard pushes and she was here, That day was so amazing, We all were so excited for this little sweet pea, Unfortunately two weeks later  that joyus occasion was turned up side down when they got terrible news that there was something not right with little avas heart, We all panicked a little but thought, ok this is routine get her checked out and all will be fine, well it turned out it was not fine at all and on July, 27th, 2017 baby ava went in to have open heart surgery to repair a large hole in her heart, The surgery was very successful the cardiologists and surgeons were elated that it went so well, On August, 4th, 2017  Ava was discharged from the hospital and let me tell you she looked amazing and so full of life, Everything was going perfect once again, They did their routine follow up appointments with the cardiologist and her heart function was slowly getting better, On the third follow up visit they got very unexpected news that they where to return to the hospitpal again because Ava's heart was not looking so good once again, They all were hoping she would only need a change in her medication's and they would be sent home, After evaluating her the news was actually a lot worse then the doctors, my sister and brother in law thought it would ever be poor ava needed a heart transplant because she was having heart failure and was diagnosed with Left Ventricular Non-Compacted Cardiomyopathy, she is now in the ICU and they are trying to stablize her so she can be healthy and strong enough for such a surgery, Ava is to go on the transplant list hopefully before the end of this week (September, 27th, 2017) this could be a long wait and Ava can be in the hospital for several months to a year before that donor comes up and she has the heart that is perfect for her.

This gofundme is something that will help allow my sister and brother in law so they can be by Ava's side every step of the way,  as you know the cost of hospital care, transport, rent, utilities etc.. is so expensive. I am grateful for this platform and to be able to share baby Ava's story in hopes everyone will help as much as they can whether it be donating or simply sharing.
