<div>Originally this page was set up to raise money for Sam as I ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon last month for him, as explained below.

<div>Since then, unfortunately and absolutely heartbreakingly, Sam received the terrible news that his cancer has now spread into his neck and brain.
</div>

</div>
<div>Sam was given treatment last week to help with some symptoms and to hopefully give him some extra weeks with his family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The money now raised will go towards his beautiful 2 young children so please help and dig deep if you can. I’d love to get to £1,000 for him and them. Thank you so much xx

<div>I am running for two charities but the reason behind my choice in this fundraiser is that it’s very close to not only our hearts but a very close friend of my brother.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sam is part of my brother’s amazing close knit friendship group and have all been friends since their senior school years at KEGS together.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sam is only 43 years old and has two beautiful young children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately on April 15th 2024 Sam was diagnosed with bowel cancer which has spread to his liver, chest and abdomen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To date, he has been told his treatment is about management, not cure.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Whilst Sam is undergoing regular chemotherapy at the moment, to date 26 rounds! His doctor has advised potential private treatments that aren't funded by the NHS, which could cost up to £5k a month.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Therefore I would love to help and join an amazing team of people who are taking part in some incredible fundraising events to help Sam get the much needed treatment he needs to smash this cancer!
</div>
