First Responder in Need

Donation protected
On June 19th, 2014, Timothy Geoghegan, 26, was critically injured in a motor vehicle accident when another vehicle ran a stop sign on Oak Hill and Larch Drive in Toms River, New Jersey. The off-duty officer was struck broadside, leaving his 2010 Jeep overturned from the impact.

Tim was flown to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, by medevac helicopter where he was put into the Intensive Care Unit for treatment of his injuries. He sustained multiple life threatening injuries that will leave him wheelchair bound for approximately three to six months.

Tim has been a dedicated member to his community serving as a volunteer fire fighter on the Silverton Fire Company and a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) on Silverton Emergency Medical Services since he was 18. In the past, Tim has served for Seaside Heights Police Department, but currently works part time for Island Heights Police Department and as an EMT for Tri-Boro First Aid Squad in Seaside Park. Tim aspires to become a full time law enforcement officer.

Unfortunately, Tim has no medical insurance and a limited motor vehicle policy. With his increasing medical bills, he will need as much assistance as possible. Please help give back to this volunteer and dedicated individual, because now he needs your help.
