Zakary's Graphic Design Launch Fund

Zakary has been accepted to attend an 11 day career-focused leadership conference for outstanding high school students this summer at American University in Washington, DC. His focus will be Film, Video and Photography: Animation and Graphic Design.
This will give him fantastic opportunities to experience curriculum and technologies that are currently unavailable to him at his high school. He will also get a chance to visit the Capitol and meet with professionals in various fields related to his studies.
Not only does Zakary have this wonderful opportunity to learn from amazing instructors, meet kids from around the world with interests similar to his own, and participate in leadership and team-building exercises, but he will also have a chance to earn a $40,000 college scholarship!
For those of you that might not know Zak well, there are a few things that he almost always has on his person: a pocket full of writing utensils, his Nintendo 3DSXL, and something in which to draw.
He has books filled with characters he as created, compete with backstories and arsenals of weapons and armor. He was even asked to illustrate a vacation reveal book for a good friend of mine.
There are quite a few things that he will need for this adventure. On top of the tuition and transportation to and from DC, Zak will need a suit for a few formal occasions and various art supplies. His computer will need an overhaul for the Graphic Design class. We plan on driving him to DC to keep costs down.
Zakary is very excited for this amazing jump start for his future. He would be more than happy to immortalize some of the highest donors as a character in one of his next creations. We thank you very much for your support.
