Autumn's Robbery Recovery Fund

Growing up, my mother was a single mom. She was diagnosed with cancer when I was a young toddler and l lived in foster care while my mom got better and was able to take me back. During this time I suffered abuse from my caretakers and to this day still struggle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. My father has never been in my life since he was forced to move out due to his alcoholism and schizophrenia and his lack of motivation to seek help. He is currently in a mental heath rehab center after a recent episode this past week. My mom struggled everyday to care for the two of us growing up and we still live in poverty to this day. Education and finding a career has always been my goal to break cycle of poverty and overcome my past. Anyone who has met me knows that I am a bubbly, happy soul and I strive to keep a positive attitude. Through my years in high school I would go to class and work hard. I was president of Key Club (Kiwanis), TV Production & News Crew lead and was involved in Show Choir and Drama club. This passion to succeed grew fiercely when I became a full time college student pursuing a business bachelor's degree in Multimedia Management at Saint Leo University. I am able to attend free because of scholarships I have earned and I thank God for all my blessings. This led me to begin my own photography business which has been more than just a side job, but a truly rewarding and amazing experience. Everyday I make people feel beautiful and worthy. I create art and I build self love within my clients. I work hard everyday at my other job so I am able to buy the best equipment and invest in some of the best technology.
So why am I telling you this? I'm at rock bottom at this point due to a recent break in where 100% of my equipment used for school and photography have been stolen out of my home. Everything of value was stolen me. Everything I have worked so hard for with absolutely no help. My mother and my family never would be able to have the funds to replace the thousands of dollars I have saved up and paid out of pocket for.
My purse, my MacBook Pro, Canon 6D, Sigma Art 35mm lens, 85mm lens and all the accessories and other equipment are now gone. All my dreams and goals are invested in that equipment. My heart is truly broken and I have been sobbing, completely unsure what to do. My passion for photography, my school work and all my photos are on that laptop, I still have yesterday's clients photos on the memory cards and I have future clients booked with me. I work hard everyday so that my future children will not have to struggle like me and I will rise above my situation. In 2 years I will be the first in my family to graduate from a university with a Bachelor's Degree and hopefully continue on for my Master's Degree. However, it is required for me to do homework and submit work online through a computer. Without my laptop now, my education has been put on hold. Also, with all my camera equipment gone, and many clients already paid in full, I'm unable to continue my passion and follow through with my promises. If you have anything at all to give, It would truly mean more than you know. I strive everyday to be there for others and to help bring up people in need. I just pray if you have read this far that you can sympathize over this current struggle and consider giving.
