Autumns only chance at life

Many of you may recognise this beautiful 2 year old soul who came to us pregnant AND paralysed some time ago. It was a truly heartbreaking case and we never expected Autumn to be so loving and happy.
We spent months and thousands of pounds (£4500) rehabilitating this girl . She had a bilateral rear leg amputation and was fitted with a custom wheelchair and was all set to go to her forever home . After all the suffering she endured we thought this was it...finally Autumn could be happy now...about a week or so before she was due to leave us she stopped being able to walk properly. We immediately rushed her to the vets and x-rayed both front legs which sadly showed her chest cavity was too large for her little tiny legs and we were told it was only a matter of months until she would even be able to stand and and we would have to Euthanise her. Autumn did not get to go to her forever home.
She has since been living at the rescue and the team have been desperately searching for a solution to prolong this girls life, given that she is incredibly loving, happy , bouncy and full of life. Yesterday we were told by our trusted orthopaedics team that there is now light at the end of the tunnel for this little girl. If we can raise enough money to fit her with two leg braces to straighten out and support those little legs of hers and take her swimming 3 times a week she has a shot to live a good number of years yet.
If we can raise the £4000 for the leg braces, the plan is to move her to home foster with our founder, Natalia, who will get started on the hydrotherapy (not part of this fundraiser) and get her used to wearing her leg braces and all going well get her back using her wheel chair again so that she can enjoy outdoor life like she used to....and who knows maybe one day some kind soul will take her on life long foster for us...wouldn't that be amazing! It is going to be a long Job for Natalia but we feel Autumn deserves every second and every chance and there is a very high chance this is going to be her saving grace.
The rescue has paid out over £15,000 this month ALONE in veterinary bills and we just do not have the funding left for little Autumn. Its a dire situation when you have so many dogs needing medical care, and sadly we have had to prioritise the ones in immediate medical danger... so we are reaching out to you this Christmas to see if you guys can come together and help us give Autumn the best Christmas present any dog could ask for....the gift of life.
Please share this far and wide, we would do anything for all of our dogs and we are desperate to make sure this girl isn't euthanised in 2022 due to not being able to stand anymore!
