Greetings everyone,
On Feburary 11th I was driving home from work on the interstate when another vehicle jumped the median and crossed in front of my car, causing a major collision. Although it could have been much, much worse I sustained significant injuries including a broken arm, sternum, and hip socket. I have been unable to walk unassisted because of my hip (and other injuries) and therefore have been unable to work for the past month. The doctors say the earliest I can return to work will be early April, and possibly longer.
My family has been incredibly supportive, with my sister Suzy letting us stay at her home for the past month to give my wife Gaby a shorter commute to work and my parents driving down from Illinois to take care of me during the day.
However, after thought and prayer Gaby and I have decided to ask for some financial help. Since I won't be able to work for almost another month we will need assistance with our bills, and it is for this reason we would like to ask for your support. We will use these funds to help pay our rent, utilities, health insurance, car payment, and groceries for the month of April.
We thank all of you in advance for anything that you are able to give. We will count every dollar as a blessing!
