Austynn's Medical Expenses

Austynn was born on October 10 - she was 9 weeks early weighing just 2 pounds 1.5 ounces. She was born via emergency c-section because her mom was very ill with HELLP syndrome. She was born with a broken femur & 2 ASD's (holes in her heart).
When she was 10 days old she was airlifted to Children's hospital in Denver for a bowel abstruction before she was transferred back to PVH near her home. She spent 44 days in the NICU! She was home & growing happily for 3 months until she got sick Feb 24.
On February 24th, she went to the ER for RSV. She was admitted for overnight observation because of her ASD's and because she was a premie. Much more support was needed because she started to have trouble breathing overnight. She went into respiratory failure and they called a code blue while being transferred to the Pediatric ICU where she got attached to a ventilator. A chest x-ray showed she developed pneumonia on top of her RSV. She was airlifted to Denver's Children's Hospital on Feb 25 and has been there since.
She's showing signs of improvement but she needs more assistance to breathe and time to recover. The virus affected has been hard on her little body and her hospital stay has been much longer than her parents anticipated. She needs time to recuperate and having her parents with her helps to keep her more comfortable.
We're raising money to help to cover costs from lost wages & medical treatment so that Doug & Tasha can stay in Denver with Austynn as much as possible.
