<div>Our beautiful boy, Auston, has finally received his life-saving heart and lungs after 13 long weeks in the hospital—8 of those in ICU, supported by ECMO. While this is an incredible milestone, the road to recovery is just beginning.

<div>The doctors have informed us that Auston will face a lengthy recovery in ICU before moving to the ward. It will still be several weeks before we can even think about bringing him home. Once he is discharged from St. Vincent’s, Auston and his mum will need to stay in the city for another 12 weeks for daily appointments and rehabilitation before they can return home to Valla Beach.

<div>The support and love we’ve received so far has been overwhelming, and we can’t express enough how much it has meant to us.
