Austin & Family

My brother, Austin Seitz, has had a few surprises recently, and none of them have been good news. After a colonoscopy we all assured him would be routine, they found a tumor the size of a golf ball and could not remove it. A rescheduled surgery removed the tumor and lymph nodes to send off for testing. The results: Stage 3 cancer.

Loved and adored fiercely by his four sons, Charlie, Cole and Sawyer ages 16 and Tristen age 14, Austin, and his wife Cherie, are already feeling the pinch of missing work from the surgery. Additionally, some of the tests/scans were not covered by insurance. Now, with chemo being recommended, uncertainty on the coverage for his treatment and his busy work schedule have become additional stress factors.

The physical, emotional and financial burdens associated with raising four teenage boys can be overwhelming. Add cancer to that scenario, and those burdens are magnified. Providing a source of support is a wonderful thing. GoFundMe is a great way to assist family and friends who want to help!
