Study Abroad Trip to France

Bonjour mes amis!
My name is Austin Canales and I am currently a sophomore Art History and French double major at DePauw University. I have recently been accepted to study abroad in France this upcoming summer. The trip will be in Nice, France from June 2nd, to July 1st, 2018. I will be in a French immersion course that will allow me to continue taking coursework towards the completion of my French major, but also will allow me to become more fluent in the French language, and more well versed in the Francophone world. In the process of taking on this incredible, and potentially life-changing opportunity however, I have run into financial difficulties paying for the trip. I come from a working class family, and often we are restricted from many opportunities because of our socioeconomic status. Me even going to college in the first place is something very few people in my neighborhood have been given a chance to do, thus I am extremely blessed to have made it this far. I want to utilize all of the educational resources that I am provided with in college, to one day give back to my community, as well as others like it. I have been very active in applying for scholarships and grants, yet the cost is still great. That is why I need your help! The money garnered by way of your support will go towards:
- Tuition
- Transportation
- Food
- International SIM Card
The program commences on June 2nd, so time is of the essence! Any donation, share, like, any form of support will be immensely appreciated.
