Austin Angelfish Synchro-a-thon

The Austin Angelfish are the only synchronized swimming team in Austin.  For over 20 years, the Angelfish have been lead by a dedicated group of volunteer coaches who are passionate about the sport and keeping it financially within reach of Austin families.

In service of keeping our monthly dues accessible, our annual budget falls short in several key areas.  Rather than raising dues to fully meet our budget, we choose to activate team fundraising events which provide benefits beyond capital: fundraising builds awareness of our organization; creates a level playing field which encourages all of our girls to be participants in their own synchro journey and finally, fundraising shows our daughters that being a competitive athlete costs money!

The Angelfish are a diverse team of 44 girls, ages 8-18, who swim between 8-11 hours / week, and who collectively speak eight different languages! They are fierce athletes in a sport requiring strength, stamina, teamwork, perseverance, confidence, artistry, massive lung capacity and intense poise. We are lead by an all volunteer coaching staff. This allows us to keep costs down as well as provide scholarships for need.
