“Meet Aurora...
She's the sweetest little girl I've ever met in my life. All she wants to do is cuddle. My wonderful friend, Dawn, found her at her job and couldn't keep her, so I took her in. She has a lot of problems though. I took her immediately to the vet, because I was worried about her. Turns our she was dehydrated, anemic, and her red blood cell count is at 27%. For cats, it's supposed to be between 38% and 45%. She has an infection, so she's on antibiotics for now twice a day. They couldn't get a fecal sample, so I have to bring one in, but they started a dewormer on her. She's severely under weight. You can feel all the bones in her little body. We estimate her to be about 4-5 weeks old. The worst part is this wound on her foot. The bone is sticking out of it. The vet said her leg needs to be amputated. She's just the most sweetest, kindest, loving little girl. She met all 6 of my dogs, there was no barking, growling...only sniffing and she just sat there and sniffed back. Dogs would lose interest and go bark at something outside and she would just curl back up in my lap and go back to sleep. I even had her meet my other 2 cats...they sniffed her, but didn't hiss...they just wanted to go outside hahaha. She's eating soft food and drinking water all ready all by herself and she lets you know when she needs to use the litter box too. That's pretty impressive for a kitty her age!!! What a little princess!!! That's why we named her Aurora. She's so sweet, feminine and everyone loves her ❤
Please pray that somehow I'll be able to raise the money for her amputation if thats what God plans for her. I mean she walks on it and acts like she's not in pain, but her bone is sticking out and the vet is worried about infection.”
