Aurora, My FIP Warrior, Needs Help For Treatments!

Hello, I'm Aurora and I'm 8 months old and my mama says I'm the best most purrrrfect kitten she ever has seen. I used to live in a shelter with other kitty friends but along came my mama because she was sad from loosing this dog I heard named Allie. Mama told me that Allie was her baby for 15 years and that because she was so heart broken and needed to give love and get love she came looking for the purrrrfect angel kitty like me. All I did was cuddle up to mama and she was in love and later that day I had a new home. I've been home with my big sissy Sugar for about 3 and a half months now. I've been living the high Life till recently. I haven't been feeling so good and worried mama so she took me to see my Doctor. My doctor says I have this thing called FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) and I heard her tell my mama I have the wet form and that it's fatal. They say there is no cure but mama found a medicine that is very expensive for mama to get me and she is gonna need some help. Can you help me fight my battle with FIP so I can stay with my mama and so I can grow up big and strong? It is caused by a type of virus called a coronavirus, which tends to attack the cells of the intestinal wall. FIP is fatal in more than 95 percent of cases. In mild cases of the dry form, it may be possible to prolong the survival period, but most cats with the wet form of the disease die within two months of the onset of signs.
