Aunt Sandy Needs Our Help ASAP

Donation protected
Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to read this plea for help. Meet my amazing aunt Sandy:  (Let's start with the business first; I'll get personal afterward.) My aunt Sandy is 70 years old and on a fixed income, and has just been blindsided with the news that after renting her home for 10+ years, she will have to move out and try to find somewhere else to live because the owner is putting the property up for sale on an online auction. Unfortunately, due to the nature of this particular situation, she only has 30-60 days to find somewhere else to live. Some factors: She doesn't have any lease protection, being that she is only on a month to month lease. The owner has to sell or the property will be foreclosed on, so she doesn't have the option of buying the home with owner financing. And with a fixed income, she is not approved for a loan to buy the home. She fully intended to live in this home until the day she died. At this point, she can only envision being homeless. I cannot accept that vision for her. If I had the money, I would give it all to her without a second thought. She has worked hard her entire life...she should be smooth-sailing for the remainder of it, and not have to worry about these kinds of things at this point in life! And she's not the only one being affected by this. Her sweet 9-year-old grandson, Dalton will also be losing his home, the only home he has ever known. He will also likely have to switch schools, and he loves his school. So, all of this will be very difficult for him as well. Aunt Sandy has not yet told him because he will be so very upset. He loves his home and now they have to start over. We are trying to raise $4000 to cover the cost of this move, which would include first and last month's rent of a new place, plus renting a truck to move with and a dumpster to dispose of things to try to make her move lighter.  Now, allow me to introduce you to my aunt Sandy, the person: Aunt Sandy is one of the most amazing, extraordinary people I have ever met. And I'm not just saying that because she's my aunt. I would claim her as such even if we weren't blood! Aunt Sandy is one of the most selfless people I know. She would do anything for anybody. She stands up and fights for the abused, the oppressed, the outcasted, the overlooked and forgotten...strangers and familiars alike. It doesn't matter to her. If she sees someone being beat down, figuratively or literally, she will pull out her can of whoop a$$ and let you know, "not today!" She is literally the underdog's hero. She may be "elderly," but she's tough as nails! She loves her family and friends fiercely, as they do her.  She tells it like it is and pulls no punches. She is definitely the kind of woman you want in your corner. She will have your back every day of the week. She gives and gives, with her heart and pocketbook. I know she will get through this. She just needs a little help. We all need a little help sometimes.  And all of this was just thrown at her, so she didn't have time to prepare for it and handle this herself. She needs our help with this one, guys. Let's all show up and show out for her...Like I know she would do for any of us, without hesitation.  Thank you all for taking the time to consider helping my amazing aunt Sandy. Your contribution is definitely going to a worthy woman and a worthy cause. God bless you and may this selfless act be rewarded to you tenfold.
