Dear Family and Friends,
Our wonderful Aunt Jackie lived a very humble life centered around her children. No matter what her journey entailed through the ups and downs as a single parent or the debilitating health issues she endured; Aunt Jackie kept smiling and believing God would deliver her through it.
Today we humbly seek donations so that we may honor her memory by placing her ashes in a final resting spot at Resurrection Cemetary in Clinton Twp, Michigan.

Obituary for Jacqueline "Jackie" Elam
Jacqueline Faye Elam, a long time resident of Macomb County, died peacefully in the care of Regency Care Center of Shelby. She was 73 years of age.
Jackie was born in Detroit on November 30, 1944, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Locke) Elam. She had worked for the Savin Computer Company of Troy as the Administrative Assistant for over 20 years retiring because of business closing. She couldn't sit still and finished working for the Binson Company of Warren.
Jackie was an avid reader who enjoyed painting, sewing, and the beach at Caseville. She also enjoyed Bowling and Golfing in her younger years. Jackie loved cooking for her family and was known for her delicious "Polish Meatballs". She devoted her life to her family and especially to spoiling her grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jacqueline is survived by her loving children, Lisa (Carlos) Leon-York, Paul Okros, Christine (Steven) Dill and Debra (Chad) Johnson. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Mark Lewis, Austin, Amberly, and Adriena Vilk, Monica Leon-York, Alexis and Samantha Okros and Emma Johnson and her darling great-granddaughter, Elena Okros. Also, surviving is her sisters Patricia (Sam) Gentile and Kathryn Hajjar. Along with several nieces and nephews.
