Augustine Recovery Fund

We are saddened to share that a fire broke out in our kitchen around 1:30am. While we’re not sure how it started, we do know the devastation it caused to the bar- our kitchen is gone, the roof has caved in, what wasn’t consumed by flames has been irreparably damaged by smoke and water, and all of the bottles that weren’t in coolers were ruined by the smoke and heat.

But that’s just the physical, tangible stuff. The real damage is to our staff, who are now facing yet another period of uncertainty after the chaos of the past three years.

Augustine has become known for old and rare wines, and nothing makes us happier than sharing them with you.

But it is our staff that makes it the warm, inviting, and special place it is. We are opening this fund in the hope of alleviating any financial strain for our hardworking team.

We will clean up the mess, we’ll rebuild, and we’ll be back. And we look forward to pouring you something special.
