Service dog for Audrey

Hello, my name is Audrey Kajtsa I am 17 years old, and I have struggled with mental illnesses since i was very young. I am diagnosed with five mental illnesses including severe anxiety paranoia and ocd; and due to these illnesses and the fact they've been worsening I had to switch to online school, I can not have a job, and I struggle to ever leave my house sometimes I struggle to leave even my room. I have been in therapy and on medication for 5 years now but none of the 20+ medications I have tried have worked for me I continue to struggle more.Due to this, my family started researching ways I could get more support and be able to do things I would like to be able to do, like the other people around me. After researching for months we all agreed a service dog might help so we talked to my therapist and psychiatrist about the possibility. In late 2019 we got a note agreeing it would be beneficial for me to have a psychiatric service dog, and we started the process of applying.Most service dog training organizations in the west coast had very long wait lists, but luckily we found DoggieDoGood, a wonderful organization in California. I applied there and got accepted in June 2020, and now in the next six months we are fund raising to afford a service dog that will do pressure therapy, medication reminders, kisses, and barriers in public.Having a service dog will hopefully give me some freedom in life and allow me to see friends, family, and leave the house with more comfort along with helping me through bad panic attacks, depressive episodes, and other issues.(it says fundraiser for dacia kajtsa by dacia kajtsa (my mom) since im underage, just wanted to clarify <3)
