Legal Funds for Audra

Audra is in need of financial support to pay for legal fees that will secure custody of her 20 month old son, Easton. She has received support from her immediate family, but is in need of much more support to pay high legal fees for a Florida attorney.

Audra has been the victim of domestic abuse, and had to escape the relationship and relocate in order to start healing and rebuilding her life. She is now in a safe place and is working to rebuild a healthy life for her and her son. She must now take legal action in Florida to secure custody of her son.

Audra reached out to several domestic abuse advocacy groups and legal service agencies to seek pro bono legal advocacy, but no agency was able to provide no-cost or low-cost legal help. She is without the funds to pay for a lawyer on her own without the support of friends and family.

Since this campaign began, Audra has received generous donations from friends and family, and with additional help from immediate family, Audra has now secured a lawyer to represent her.  Additional funds will be needed over the course of the next several months in order to retain the attorney supporting her case.
