Our Auburn, Me u12 all star softball team has won the Babe Ruth State championship for the second year in a row and will have the opportunity to advance to the Babe Ruth World Series.  The World Series is held in Treasure Coast, FL and is held July 25-August 3rd. Auburn would be the first softball team in history to represent Maine in a World Series game. <br />This is a once in a life time opportunity for our Auburn All Stars, but comes with a cost of   Almost $30,000 to send a team for the required dates.  Babe Ruth requires players to stay at hotels assigned by them, requires World Series uniforms to be purchased by players and coaches.  Our team will also have to purchase flights, rental vans, and food for our girls for the week. <br /><br />On top of other fundraisers we are currently doing as a team, support from our Maine community is greatly appreciated and needed to give our girls this this amazing chance to represent our Maine softball community!
