ATX Running for Relief

Hi! I’m Lauren and I’m a native Austinite.
So many cities are feeling the heart-breaking affects of COVID-19, both on a human and economic level. Austin has a strong sense of community but so many in the community are feeling the devastation from the pandemic - so I’m going to do what I can to help. Starting Friday April 10th till we reach the goal, I will be running miles to raise money for the Austin community.
Rules:
- You can donate any amount you'd like.
- Up to $500, for every $25 raised = 5k (3.1 miles)
- $500 and above, every $25 raised = 10k (6.2 miles)
- Example: Fundraiser reaches the $100 mark = four 5ks
If the fundraising goal is met, please do not hesitate to keep donating and make me run more miles! And let me know if you'd like join too!

Where will the money go?
100% of the money raised will be split evenly between:
1. Austin Pets Alive
2. Stand with Austin Fund (Austin Community Foundation, Entrepreneurs Foundation)
3. All Together ATX (United Way for Greater Austin, Austin Community Foundation)
I know like many others, I am dreaming of the day we can spend time at the Austin places we love, with the people we love. I just want to help make sure those places will still be there at the end of this.
Donation receipts will be provided.
Social Distancing Running Guidelines:
I will be observing social distancing guidelines while running. I am currently staying with my mom in the suburbs of Austin and will not leave the neighborhood when running. This allows me to run on the road when safe, and maintain a much greater distance than 6ft. My priority is to never run on the same side of the street as someone in front or behind me.
