Attorney and Travel Fees

I am a dad, not the worlds most perfect dad, but an imperfect guy working hard to be a good dad. Someone his son can look up to with respect and admiration and love. I have made mistakes, the biggest one being that I did not get my custody rights documented. I pay my child support on time and I do the extra everything I can, but all of it dictated by his mom. She has the child so she makes the rules.

But now I want to ‘get it on paper’, I want to see him more and decide what extra means. I want to have a voice in ‘what is good for him’ and impact his life in ways that are not about dollars and cents. I don’t want to pay to play, I want to love him all the time and not when his mom is in a good mood.

It is hard to ask for help, I admire people who can do it. I am asking for help now to pay the legal fees for documented custody arrangements with my son. I am asking for help for a guy who is trying to be a great dad. There are lots of fathers out there, I am a dad. I want in, all in. The sick days, the good days – all days. Anything helps and I thank you for myself and my son and for every dad fighting for his rights. If you read this and kept scrolling, I thank you too.
