Atlas' Vet Bills

Atlas the cat is 6 years old. He has a blockage in his bladder. I took him to the vet on Wednesday 12/23/2020 and they were able to unblock him and insert a catheter. I brought him home and he spent the night uncomfortable but dripping urine from his catheter which was a very good sign. I brought him back into the vet this morning, 12/24/2020 for them to monitor and remove the catheter. They reported he was doing good and let me take him home. This evening he stopped peeing on his own and began straining to urinate. He refused food and water and seemed very upset and lethargic. I took him to the nearest emergency vet and they checked his bladder, he had another blockage. My boyfriend and I discussed the options and we had resigned to put him down until we were brought into the room to see him and we couldn't go through with it. We instead opted for an incredibly expensive medical stay at the emergency vet a long with an additional blockage removal. We aren't in the clear yet but we're hoping for the best for this big goofy boy that we both love so much. Any help is appreciated, he currently has a substantial amount in vet bills and may require more time and effort in the future.
