Domos Wants to Break the World Record for TRPIL!

Tax deductible

In 1993, Attila Domos  had a falling accident that paralyzed him at the waist. However, this only inspired him to work ever harder at challenging himself as an athlete, musician, and speaker. Recently you may have seen him at the Pittsburgh Marathon Handcycle Division (where he won for the third time) or listened to his latest techno/house album, The 11th Ninja.

Today, Attila is working with Transitional Paths to Independent Living (TRPIL), an agency that serves people with disabilities, to renovate and restore the former YWCA in Washington into its new headquarters and community center. To this end, Attila will be attempting to officially break a record he has long dreamed of – the 24-hour handcycle distance record—from Saturday, October 12th to Sunday, October 13th!

Attila has graciously agreed to use this attempt to fundraise for TRPIL’s capital campaign in the process! Join us as we raise funds to work for a more independent future for people with disabilities in Southwestern Pennsylvania! Part of the event will be livestreamed by Wendy Bell at https://www.facebook.com/positivelywendybell/!
