Fire Relief for Youth Sports

OUR GOAL
Every athlete knows the feeling you get when you head towards the field, court or rink. It’s about competing with your teammates in a game that you love. This is what we want to give back to the young athletes in our communities: that comfortable feeling of family and home. Just a little break to think of nothing except playing the game they love.  Fire Relief for Youth Sports is to provide the needed resources to local families that either lost homes or their jobs and help them get their children back on the fields and courts as soon as possible as well as to supply them with all of the athletic gear they have lost. Funds will go directly to our local youth baseball, flag football, basketball, youth soccer and Lacrosse organizations and their families in need

Many parents and local sports organizations have been asking us for help and just want their kids to have some semblance of normalcy from this event and one big way is to be back on their teams and playing with their teammates which are a part of their extended family and a big part of a child’s identity. Youth sports can be expensive and by helping to fund the children’s team & league fees, uniforms, equipment, coaching and travel, this takes a major financial burden off the parents who have lost homes and jobs and are trying to rebuild their lives. If they know their kids are taken care of it is a major relief for the them.

We want to thank the San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland A’s who have come to the Epicenter and donated time, money and supplies to help our local families to begin the heal recover from this tragic event.
