<div>Athboy Celtic FC is heartbroken by the situation facing our club and the wider community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the past number of months, our parents, players, volunteers, local businesses and families have worked tirelessly, giving up their time, energy and hard-earned money to help build a new, full-size, floodlit astro pitch at Cow Park in Athboy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This was never just about football. It was about creating a facility for our children, our young people and future generations — a place to play, grow, build friendships and bring our community together for years to come.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sadly, following the liquidation of our contractor, Athboy Celtic is facing a financial loss of just over €150,000. We are actively pursuing every appropriate avenue to recoup these funds and are exploring every possible option to keep our pitch project alive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Behind this money are countless hours of hard work, personal sacrifices and donations from ordinary people who gave what they could because they believed in our vision.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It is devastating to think that money raised from the pockets of our families and community could be lost, through no fault of the people who worked so hard to raise it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are appealing to people across Meath and throughout Ireland to stand with Athboy Celtic at this incredibly difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation, no matter how small, and every share could help us overcome this setback and bring us closer to completing the facility our community deserves.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you cannot donate, please share this appeal. Your support could help us reach someone who can make a difference.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our community came together to build this dream. Now, we need that community spirit more than ever.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For our children. For our community. For the future of Athboy Celtic. ⚽
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you to everyone who has supported us and to everyone who can help us now.
